The Derby varsity softball team added another accolade to its long list of achievements by landing three players on the Kansas Softball Coaches Association Class 6A all-state roster.

Graduated senior Hayley Hume was named all-state second-team pitcher. Junior infielders Kennedy Long (second base) and Montanna Whiteman (first base) also made the all-state second-team. All three players were also named all-league first-team in the AVCTL Division I this past season.
