EL DORADO – Georgia A. Parsons, 97, former J.C. Penney associate for 23 years and retired El Dorado Clinic bookkeeper for 22 years, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 4, at First United Methodist Church, 421 W. Central, El Dorado; visitation will be held at 1 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will follow in Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado. Survivors include nephews, Bill (Reba) Smith of Derby, Bill (Gail) Roberts of Stillwater, Okla., Bruce Roberts of Miami, Fla.; niece, Sue (Jim) Harmon of Wellington. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, El Dorado,and Vintage Place of El Dorado.
