Robert J. Keys

DERBY – Robert J. Keys, age 93, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012. Visitation will be held 1-8 p.m. on Monday, July 16, with family present 6-8 p.m.; a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Interment will then take place at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Julia Keys; wife, Louise Keys; siblings, Ed, Gerald, Ronnie, Donnie and Mary Ann Keys.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Dale) Schmidt of Wellington; granddaughters, Marlene (Shaun) Yardley of Derby and Janon (Dwayne) Hill of South Coffeyville, Okla.; great-granddaughters, Camrynn Yardley and Ashton Rau; siblings, Harold (Bonnie) Keys of Wichita, Helen Boley of Derby and Georgia Mae Yost of Salisbury, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
