DERBY – Mark L. Carter, 82, U.S. Air Force retiree and Boeing electrical engineer, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012. No visitation. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 6, at Smith Mortuary Chapel, 1415 N. Rock Rd.

Survivors include wife, Dorothy Jeanne; children, Rob Carter, Chris Carter, David Carter, Jill Hundley (Kevin), all of Derby; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
