Marian Beatrice (Boroughs) Hunter

DERBY – Marian Beatrice (Boroughs) Hunter, 81, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held 1-8 p.m. on Friday Aug. 3, with family receiving friends 5-7 p.m., at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn Ave., Derby.

Marian was a woman of great strength, faith, courage, kindness and tenderness. She leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten. Her last wish was for her children and family to always get along and love one another.

She was the loving wife of D. Dwight Hunter, deceased; a very great mother to Jeff (Stacey), Eric (Sandra), Jennifer (Mike Miller) and Ed (Melody); a sister to Wanda Wilson; a caring grandmother to Dara, Malory, Jordon (Katherine), Josh, Chrisinda, Hunter (Miller), Melinda, Hannah, Johnathan, Shelby, Ian and Nina; was most proud to welcome recently into this world her first great-granddaughter, Josephine; and many nieces and nephews.
