Marvin Perry "Mac" McCarty

DERBY – Marvin Perry "Mac" McCarty, 91, retired superintendent, FW Woolworth Co., passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner Ave.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Brown and Mayme McCarty; sisters, Luzelle Poer and Sue Vaughn.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Olivia; sons, Chet (Lynnete) of New Richmond, Wis., Larry (Shelly) of San Francisco, Calif.; daughters, Sue Ferrell of Augusta, Ga., Linda Pulliam of Mulvane; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
