Woman critically injured in early morning accident

By Linda Stinnett

An 18-year-old Rose Hill woman was critically injured today in an early morning accident.

Marissa Rohr was driving southbound at about 2:09 a.m. in the 500 block of South Woodlawn, just north of English, when her southbound 2000 Mazda 626 struck a parked pickup, according to Derby Police Lt. Tim Brant. The pickup was legally parked and the Mazda struck it in the rear.

Rohr was taken by EMS to Wesley Medical Center and her condition remained critical today.

Brant said the accident remains under investigation, including the possibility that alcohol may have been a factor.
