Wichita State officially opens Derby campus

Wichita State University officially opened its south campus at 200 W. Greenway in Derby on Friday afternoon.

Mayor Dion Avello was joined by WSU President Don Beggs in cutting the ribbon which marked the completion of the renovations that transformed the space from retail to the stand-out portion of the shopping center.

“We are proud of this community and proud to have you here,” Avello said.
