Sonic Rock Show a big
hit

The Sonic Drive-In on Rock Road hosted the Sonic
Rock Show that featured five local bands. Between 75-150 kids
came to listen to the bands, who performed on the Sonic Patio
in the early evening. Spectators enjoyed the music of Ophil, No
Tomorrow, Todd Goes Mainstream, Joe’s At Eat, and Diluted
Illusion. The Sonic Rock Show was organized by Sonic employee
and Derby High School senior, Tim Cote. “We like to give
teenagers an optional place to go,” says Sonic General Manager,
Cynthia Glasgow. “In Derby, there’s not a lot of places
to go.” They are hoping to host another show in the spring.
