Derby Volunteer Fire Department
dedicates
Members of the Derby Volunteer Fire Department
celebrated the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of Fire
Station #2 with Derby officials, residents and Chamber of Commerce
members on November 23. Construction on the new $1.1 million facility,
which is located at 1401 North Rock Road, began November 2001
and was designed with space for a full-time fire department in
the future. It will be furnished over time as additional funding
