Goin’ to State! Panthers beat Hutch, earn
trip to championship game
Derby Panther football players hold up their helmets in victory as they shout “sub-state champs.” The Panthers defeated Hutchinson Friday night in a 28-17 victory to advance to the 6A state finals. Derby will face Olathe North Sat. November 30th at Memorial Stadium on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence. Game time is 2:45 pm. Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.
